AP-Ex is engineered to provide protection to the surfaces of touch screens, lighting units, transparent clean room enclosures, IC test surfaces, machine guards in sensitive areas, and softer optical plastic surfaces in abusive or harsh environments. It reduces the probability of electro-static discharge events that can be damaging to sensitive electronics. When properly grounded, an AP-Ex sheet will not develop or hold a static charge.
