THE STORY BEHIND
Armor Plastics was founded to design and create high-quality polycarbonate coatings for a broad range of applications. Our expertise comes from many years of producing windshields and personal protective equipment in several industries. Our products are used by integrated circuit manufacturers, touch panel producers, ITO coaters, transit authorities, display manufacturers, sign companies, utility/sport vehicle aftermarket manufacturers, and flexible and printed electronics companies.
Armor Plastics was born out of a need to make polycarbonate hard coating more efficient and more accessible without sacrificing quality. We pride ourselves on quality coatings, short lead times, and a passion to service every customer from the smallest to the largest.

Nearly a 150,000 square foot facility provides access to a new state-of-the-art coating line, several thousand feet of storage space, capabilities for production and assembly, as well as an additional coating line in Pataskala, Ohio, allowing Armor Plastics to be a global leader of polycarbonate supply and hard coating.
THE LOCATION
Armor Plastics’ headquarters is located at 1200 Clifty Drive, Madison, Indiana. A full renovation was completed of the former Williamson Metal Works building, which was built in 1946 and had been vacant since 2009. Total renovations exceeded 13M dollars and changed the landscape of the western entrance into Madison’s hilltop.
